Service & Policy Work

Outside of research, writing, and teaching, I enthusiastically engage in interdisciplinary scholarly organizing and have a demonstrated background in policy and service. Prior to Yale, I worked at the ACLU’s Racial Justice Program, the Brennan Center for Justice, and LEAP- a post-incarceration program. At Cambridge, I ran the Queer Theory reading group and was the LGBTQIA+ Welfare officer. Currently, I am a Health Policy Research Scholar with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, a five-year leadership and policy training program in which I have developed and presented policy to legislators during the program’s summer institute. At Yale, I am an affiliate in the Yale Research Initiative on the Histories of Sexuality, a fellow with the Yale Ethnography Hub, and co-run the WGSS Colloquium and Graduate Policy Fellows Program at Yale. I co-organized the Repro Futures pre-conference at ASA 2024 and the “Expanded Reproduction” panel at NWSA 2024. I am currently a Graduate Impact Fellow at the New Haven Pride Center, where I organize events on reproductive justice, host office hours, and teach.
